Yesterday I presented my favorite session “How to Use Parameters Like a Pro and Boost Performance” in the DBA Fundamentals PASS Virtual Chapter. I love this session, because it’s based on my experience with so many clients in so many cases. I see the same mistakes that developers do again and again, and with some simple “tricks”, you can really boost performance. You just need to understand how parameterization works in SQL Server, and how to handle them correctly. And this is what this session is all about.
