Last Thursday, I delivered my seminar, Performance-Oriented SQL Server Development at the Expert Days conference in Israel.
It was a great experience, and I’d like to thank everyone who attended.
The scripts from the seminar can be downloaded from here.

Working on database optimization last month pushed me to revisit some performance tuning basics. One poorly written query slowed down an entire reporting dashboard, and tracing it took hours of profiling and script adjustments. During that process, I browsed icloud reviews out of curiosity because cloud storage and synchronization sometimes affect backup timing in our environment. It’s interesting how infrastructure details can influence development efficiency more than raw code quality. Once we refined indexing and adjusted resource allocation, execution times dropped significantly and the system felt far more responsive during peak usage.
