SQL in the City 2012
Today I attended SQL in the City in London. The event was (very well) organized by Red Gate. I got to meet some great SQL Server MVPs and speakers like Brad McGehee, Steve Jones and Grant Fritchey. In addition to some great presentations, Red Gate people demonstrated and explained about the Red Gate products throughout the event.
Red Gate has a really cool bundle of SQL Server products, and they did a very good job today in demonstrating how these products integrate with the processes performed by SQL Server DBAs, such as database development (SQL Source Control), backup and recovery (SQL Backup Pro) and monitoring (SQL Monitor).
It was a great networking and educating event, and it was fun. I even got a t-shirt…
