I had the pleasure to speak at SQL Saturday 360 in Israel. It was such a great event! We had two tracks, one for SQL Server and one for BI. There were more than 160 people who enjoyed free training, great food, networking and fun. There was even a beer party at the end of the event. The organizers – Maria Zakourdaev, Geri Reshef and Itai Binyamin – did an excellent job.
My presentation was about Advanced Query Tuning Techniques. I presented a few tips, such as comparing the estimated vs. the actual number of rows in the execution plan, and ignore the relative cost, because it’s always estimated. I received great feedback from the audience, and I would like to thank all the people who attended my session.
